Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

This role involves managing calendars, working from home and having the option to work a 9-day fortnight. It also includes access to professional development opportunities and mentors in the industry.

You will be part of a national team providing clinical services to individuals with various presentations, diagnoses and disability types. The role involves assessing and observing challenging behaviours, working towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours.

Key responsibilities include working with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. You will also develop PBS plans and assessments, focusing on increasing quality of life and enhancing independence.

Requirements for this position include qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy or related fields. NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner is also required, as well as experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses.
