Key Position Overview

In this pivotal Credit Officer role, you will assume a critical responsibility for overseeing and managing the dedicated debtor ledger.

The objective is to drive reductions in overdue balances, adhere to agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), perform accurate account reconciliations, and undertake additional tasks as needed to secure timely invoice payments and collections.

Core Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the debtor ledger and initiate strategies to reduce outstanding balances
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations and ensure prompt collection activities
  • Provide insightful feedback and analysis to the Credit Team Leader regarding ongoing collection efforts
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Credit Control
  • An intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Outlook
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively manage multiple priorities
