At KPMG, we are seeking a seasoned data migration expert to join our Enterprise Technology & System Integration team. As an Enterprise Cloud Migration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients successfully migrate their data from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.

We specialize in complex data migration projects that power the digital transformation of companies using world-class SaaS applications like TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions from legacy systems to modern SaaS platforms. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive data migration strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements.

You will leverage your functional knowledge of SaaS systems to design and lead the development of the overall migration architecture and approach, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data integrity.

Apart from this, you will utilize your SQL skills to analyze, map, and cleanse data, ensuring its accuracy and readiness for migration. You will also lead a team of data migration specialists while working closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure cross-functional collaboration.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will oversee and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring successful project outcomes while mitigating risks. You will also ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and best practices throughout the migration process.

About You
  • You have experience in managing and delivering multiple cloud projects.
  • You have attention to detail and focus on high-quality output.
  • You are experienced and comfortable with dealing with ambiguity.
  • You have demonstratable experience in solving complex problems.
Your Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data migration, preferably from Civica to TechOne, with a focus on either ERP, SCM, HCM, EAM or Property and Rating with applications such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams in a collaborative environment.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys tackling new challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Possession of passion for continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per annum.
