About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team at Go Study Australia Pty Ltd. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the Western Australia marketing efforts, working closely with the Australian Country Manager and the Global Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Content Creation: Plan, develop, and tailor social media posts, email content, advertising copy, and website material to effectively engage the onshore Perth market. Ensure consistency with the brand's identity and alignment with the broader marketing and communication strategy.
  • Translate and Adapt Communications: Translate and adapt onshore communications for the target audience.
  • Events Agenda Planning and Coordination: Plan and develop a comprehensive events agenda specifically tailored to the student and working holiday maker community in Perth. Identify and execute new initiatives and events to actively engage with the community and generate new leads.
  • Public Relations Initiatives: Develop and implement PR initiatives with a specific focus on the Perth market. Monitor media coverage and adjust strategies to maintain a positive brand image.
  • B2B Partnership Development: Identify and target potential B2B partners to enhance our presence in Perth. Foster relationships with key stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about trends and opportunities within the student and working holiday community in Perth. Analyze competitor activities and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets for events, PR initiatives, and marketing campaigns. Identify cost-effective strategies to maximize resources and achieve marketing goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer support, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Performance Metrics Tracking: Align any new marketing initiative with the overall key performance indicators (KPIs). Consistently monitor and analyze performance metrics to refine and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Formal education in Marketing or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles, community management, campaign management, lead nurturing, email marketing, and campaign creation. WordPress skills and experience in lead nurturing and CRM engagement strategy are preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: Advanced English proficiency (IELTS 7.5 or higher). Proficiency in either Spanish, Italian, or French is preferred. Proactive attitude, enthusiasm about exploring new trends, ability to operate with minimal direction at times. Great attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for out-of-the-box solutions.
