Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at Capcoal – German Creek in Middlemount QLD. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of communication systems on site, adhering to relevant legislative requirements and industry safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair communication systems on site.
  • Support the Service Delivery Coordinator in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver departmental objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to critical events as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate III in Telecommunications.
  • Austel Licence with open endorsements in Optical Fibre (cleaning and repairs), Structured cabling, Coaxial, Underground, Aerial.
  • Experience with SAP Maintenance System is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on mechanical skills to work on a wide range of equipment.
