As an Ultrasonic Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and integrity of our construction projects by conducting ultrasonic testing on structural steel and piping.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced non-destructive tests and evaluations on various construction materials and structures.
  • Collaborate with our skilled engineering team to accurately interpret and report findings while ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and manage testing assignments, maintain testing equipment, and conduct fieldwork, which includes safely climbing steel structures such as buildings, cell phone towers, and water tanks up to heights exceeding 200 feet.
  • Create detailed reports to effectively communicate your findings, contributing to informed decision-making and project excellence.

The position requires a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of fieldwork.

Key Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 2 years of NDT/NDE metals testing experience or an associate's degree
  • Experience in shear wave and compression wave ultrasonic testing
  • ASNT Level II certification per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A in at least one method
  • Safety, DDC, NDT, and Radiation Training
  • Experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems
