Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for all cybersecurity matters, leveraging expert knowledge to advise and direct organizational strategy.
- Design and execute robust security architectures, aligning with organizational goals while upholding stringent security standards.
- Manage the incident response protocol, ensuring swift action is taken to address and neutralize threats, minimizing potential damage.
- Foster teamwork across departments, promoting a unified approach to implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Compile comprehensive security reports for executive leadership, providing insights into current defences and recommendations for enhancements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, enhancing the overall skill set and effectiveness.
About You:
- Seasoned Cybersecurity Principal with over a decade of experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms to ensure robust security monitoring.
- Demonstrated expertise in deploying and maintaining a wide array of security tools, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Adept at leading security incident response efforts, minimizing impact and swiftly neutralizing threats.
- Skilled in enhancing security playbooks to improve response strategies and streamline incident resolution processes.
- Committed to staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to continuously improve defence mechanisms.
What We Offer:
- Exposure to industry leading tools and platforms
- Salary Range $139,787 - $161,663 + super
- Excellent leave entitlements: 20 days annual leave, up to additional 24 days flexible leave and five days compassionate leave.
