Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Recruitment Partner to join our team at Community Solutions. As a key member of our Disability Employment Services (DES) team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, illnesses, or injuries to secure employment opportunities.
Your primary responsibility will be to engage with employers, understand the local labour market, and identify new and ongoing employment opportunities. You will also network with community organisations to explain our services and attract those in need of support. Additionally, you will develop strong relationships with customers, both face-to-face and over the phone, to understand their capacity to work, employment preferences, and required support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with employers to identify employment opportunities
- Networking with community organisations to promote our services
- Developing strong relationships with customers to understand their employment needs
- Maintaining regular employer and customer contact to review progress and address any issues
- Assisting customers to become job-ready
- Working with local community services to address barriers to employment
- Gathering documentary evidence to meet participant and department outcomes
We are looking for passionate individuals who genuinely want to assist others in our local community. While experience in our industry is not necessary, we are seeking people with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to build rapport with a wide variety of people and be comfortable seeking out and consulting with local employers and community organisations.
