Sponsorship and Events Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sponsorship and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Urban Utilities.

This role is pivotal in supporting, coordinating, and maintaining our vital Sponsorship and Events Program. You will build meaningful relationships with customers, external businesses, and internal teams.

About the Role:

This opportunity will see you:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of event activations on behalf of Urban Utilities.
  • Take a hands-on approach to the logistics, setup, and delivery of community and corporate events.
  • Collaborate closely with the Branding, Marketing, and Education teams to foster strong relationships with customers, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor event progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Assist in the development of event materials and promotional content to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist in the implementation of sponsorship agreements and monitoring of sponsorship benefits.

About You:

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and executing event activations, with a understanding of how to align activities with organisational values and community engagement objectives.
  • A hands-on approach to logistics, including setup and delivery of events, ensuring that all operational aspects are managed effectively to create successful activations.
  • Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to monitor event progress, gather feedback, and assess outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate seamless communication between internal teams and external partners.
