Wellbeing Team Leader

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Wellbeing Team Leader to lead our wellbeing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their overall wellbeing and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of wellbeing coordinators to ensure high-quality service delivery and an exceptional resident experience.
  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of wellbeing programs and activities that are tailored to individual resident needs and preferences.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, providing guidance, coaching, and support to your team members.
  • Collaborate with nursing, allied health, and other care staff to develop and implement holistic care plans.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aged care regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Leisure & Health is desirable but experience in a similar wellbeing team leader or lifestyle coordinator role within the aged care sector is also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for older people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing engaging wellbeing programs and activities.
  • Familiarity with aged care regulations, standards, and best practices.
