About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Solution Designer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated solutions for planning, design, deployment, provisioning, and operational engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of fully automated integrated transport network planning solution.
  • Responsible for modular and scalable solution designs that are cloud, container, and microservices-based while interfacing with our current Digital ecosystem.
  • Solutions must meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Lead technological evolution by bringing in industry and competitive knowledge from the market to steer our roadmap.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
  • Solid understanding of PAM and Ansible applications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps development principles and CI/CD.
  • Track record of successfully designing, developing, and deploying software in test and production environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of Python (min 7 years' experience).
  • Experience with JavaScript and React Web Framework for frontend development.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols such as Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and Traffic Engineering.
  • Expertise with routers Cisco/Juniper/Nokia.
  • Good knowledge of Ansible for infrastructure and network automation.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental changes to the software and technology business driven by DevOps and the move to cloud computing and APIs, and micro-services.
  • A deep understanding of how to consume and design RESTful APIs.
  • Database experience: SQL, MySQL, and/or Postgres.
  • Knowledge of a conventional software development lifecycle (e.g., Waterfall, Kanban, SCRUM).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Learning agility to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving NetDevops niche skill domain.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional domains.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
