In this role, you'll work in a highly collaborative environment, contributing to a range of projects across Macquarie Group. You'll have the opportunity to solve complex and diverse problems, gaining global exposure to Macquarie's Operating Groups and Central Support Groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of stress testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulators and partners.

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years' experience in Group Stress Testing or similar aggregate risk or stress testing.
  • Outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, coupled with an ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data sets and concepts.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interacting with stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • A high level of attention to detail and commercial acumen.
  • Previous experience within a Treasury function with exposure to capital risk or similar.
  • Knowledge of the banking sector and regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and principles, including profit and loss and balance sheet analysis.
