Lead the Way in Surface Water Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead our Surface Water and Land team at EMM Consulting. As a key member of our Water and Land Division, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our surface water practice, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality environmental services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Surface Water and Land team, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure their ongoing growth and development.
  • Work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality surface water management services, including hydrological assessments and water management projects.
  • Develop and implement the recruitment strategy for the Surface Water and Land team, ensuring we have the right people with the right skills to deliver our services.
  • Conduct performance reviews for team members, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Lead significant hydrological assessments and water management projects, working collaboratively with our clients and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in hydrology/water engineering or a closely related field, with a strong focus on people and their ongoing growth and development.
  • Expertise in scoping, leading the technical components of hydrological and surface water investigations, including rainfall, flow, and flood analyses, flood modeling, flood mapping, and risk assessments.
  • Experience in strategic thinking and business planning, with a strong understanding of the environmental services industry.
  • Superior project management and project delivery skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and leverage internal contacts.
