We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team in Katherine, where you will play a key role in providing technical advice and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite agronomic and technical support to clients to recommend appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
• Develop and foster professional relationships with a targeted group of existing and new clients
• Identify and cultivate new agronomic sales opportunities for prospective and existing clients
• Maximise promotional opportunities, including assisting at field days and farmer meetings with demonstrations and trial work

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agronomist to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. You will work closely with our branch team to provide agronomic technical advice, products and services that help our clients thrive.

Requirements

• A background in disciplines such as crop, weed, disease, pasture, broadacre, cotton and horticulture
• A proven track record in sales and previous experience in an agronomy role
• An ability to provide high level customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current growers
• A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field
