Physician for Northern Beaches of Townsville

This role is located in a peaceful area near James Cook University, serving the Northern Beaches of Townsville and the Ingham area.

As a General Practitioner with FRACGP qualification, you will join a team of 4 experienced GPs with nursing and allied health support on site. The practice has DPA exemption and offers a supportive environment for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to gain experience and skills.

The principal GP provides supervision and exam preparation, making it an ideal opportunity for IMGs to develop their careers.

You will have access to modern clinical software, Best Practice, and can privately bill patients. The practice also has pathology and pharmacy services on site, as well as treatment rooms and consulting areas.

The working hours are weekdays from 8am to 4pm, which allows for a great work-life balance. There is no requirement for after-hours work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a MBBS or equivalent degree
  • Have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
  • Be FRACGP qualified
  • Display a good attitude towards teamwork

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $250,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
