Townsville Grammar School, a renowned co-educational institution in Northern Queensland, is seeking an experienced Teacher to join our Junior School team. Established in 1888, our school boasts a long-standing reputation for academic excellence and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Years 11 and 12.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 per annum, plus up to 12.75% superannuation contributions. In addition, permanent staff members are entitled to discounts on tuition fees, paid parental leave, and access to free and confidential counselling via Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teacher to work at our Junior School teaching Year 2. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and delivering effective learning experiences to our students. Your passion for education and commitment to inspiring young minds will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a relevant teaching qualification, QCT Registration, and primary school teaching experience. We also welcome applications from current Bachelor of Education students who can work under a Permission to Teach arrangement. Your ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and student needs will be highly valued.
