Rehabilitation Specialist Role

About the Job
  • We are seeking an experienced rehabilitation specialist to join our team and play a key role in helping individuals navigate complex rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality assessments and counseling services to people experiencing sudden changes in their career goals and circumstances.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to guide individuals towards their new career path by developing graduated return-to-work plans through liaison with treating health professionals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key parties, to drive positive outcomes for clients.
  • Identify return-to-work barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
The Ideal Candidate
  • You will have a tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology and registration with AHPRA, AASW, or ASORC.
  • A passionate advocate for empowering others and advocating for recovery and return to work.
  • Dynamic and agile, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Innovation-driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
