Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaping and Civil Works Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a 4-year apprenticeship in commercial landscaping with a partner company based in Canberra.

About the Role

You will be undertaking a Certificate III in Landscape Construction and gain hands-on experience in all facets of landscaping and civil works, including brick and stone structures, paving, project costing, drainage installation, and plant and soil practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair brick and stone structures
  • Lay and maintain paving surfaces
  • Manage project costs and budgets
  • Install and inspect drainage systems
  • Develop and implement plant establishment programs

Working Conditions

  • 4-year apprenticeship
  • Based in Canberra
  • 5 days per week, plus additional overtime as required

Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding work
  • Hold a valid driver's license and own vehicle for job site locations
