Chief Legal Counsel

The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is looking for a skilled Solicitor to join their Legislation team. In this role, you will provide sound legal and legislative advice and services on a range of matters across the department.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide advice on complex legal, legislation and policy issues
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to deliver high quality client focused legal and legislation services
• Prepare briefs and instruct counsel and contracted solicitors on complex and sensitive matters
