Lead Retail Stores to Success

As a Retail Area Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing high-performing retail teams across the Upper North East region. Your focus will be on driving sales performance targets, improving store revenue capacity, and maintaining a safe and positive work environment.

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales growth and exceed KPI performance in multiple stores
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop retail teams to deliver exceptional customer service and meet operational standards
  • Embed best-in-class visual merchandising and operational standards to drive customer engagement and loyalty
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, donors, and local communities to champion the voice of the donor
  • Ensure a 'safety first' culture is maintained across all stores

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, management, or retail, with significant experience managing large retail outlets
  • Proven ability to successfully lead retail and supply chain operations, with a track record of achieving sales growth and exceeding KPI performance
  • Strong people management skills, including leadership, motivation, coaching, and development of high-performing teams
  • Ability to review and analyse business data to inform operational decisions and drive performance improvement
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing P&L statements
  • High-level understanding of current issues facing the retail sector and not-for-profit industry
  • Current NSW driver's license and ability to travel across the region
