About the Role

This position plays a crucial part in developing and implementing risk management strategies for bushfire and network safety across electricity networks.

  • Develop and maintain the currency of the Bushfire Risk Model to reflect best practice and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and government agencies to ensure network safety commitments are achieved.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential mitigation initiatives to minimize risks.
  • Develop business cases for investment opportunities and advocate internally and externally.
Your Skills and Experience

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Detailed knowledge of contemporary risk management principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing effectively at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and report writing skills.
  • Previous experience in the electricity industry.
  • Strong understanding of electricity safety legislation.
  • Previous experience dealing with external regulatory authorities.
