About the role:
This position plays a critical part in developing and enhancing bushfire and network safety risk management across multiple electricity networks.
The key objective is to elevate the maturity of our Bushfire Risk Model to reflect industry best practices.
You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive safety assessments with subject matter experts to minimize network safety risks as far as practicable.
What you'll deliver:
- Elevate the currency of the Bushfire Risk Model to ensure it adheres to best practice standards.
- Directly engage with external consultants and government agencies to scope, establish contracts, and project manage all BRM improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement and facilitate bushfire mitigation and network safety risk minimization assessments.
To succeed in this role, you'll require:
- Detailed knowledge of contemporary risk management principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization.
