Banyan Software seeks a high-calibre Legal Counsel to support operations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our growing legal team, working closely with the APAC Group President and General Counsel.
Job Description- Support Operations Across APAC Region: Lead and execute all stages of the acquisition process, including reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, performing due diligence, drafting and negotiating letters of intent and definitive transaction documents.
- 7-9 Years PQE: A degree in Law or equivalent qualification, registered to practice law in Australia.
- M&A Experience: 6 years of experience doing M&A at a reputable law firm.
- Commercial Experience: In-house commercial experience, specifically in the Software/Technology industry is an asset.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: High-energy self-starter, team player with excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
