About Us

Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services required for the design and construction of data centre facilities.

This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of LLE equipment, main build contractor and service contracts, while maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and agree on the procurement strategy with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to align with procurement principles.
  • Manage procurement tender processes for the purchase of plant, equipment, and services.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, contract law, WHS, and ISO standards (where applicable).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior procurement or supply chain roles. You will also have demonstrated procurement experience in Data Centre environments, particularly new builds.

Experience in commercial negotiations of procurement contracts, working in secure and regulated environments, and procuring LLE for Data Centre developments are highly desirable.

Your Ideal Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Demonstrated procurement experience in Data Centre environments, particularly new builds.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations of procurement contracts.
  • Experience working in secure and regulated environments.
  • Experience in procuring LLE for Data Centre developments and existing relationships with LLE vendors is desirable.
