Role Overview

The Youth Clinician will provide support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mental health concerns, along with their families and carers.

This role is a key part of delivering early intervention services to young people, working closely with other clinicians and community services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake and psychosocial assessments, including complex risk evaluations
  • Develop collaborative care plans aligned with a young person's identified goals
  • Provide brief interventions and link clients to appropriate services
  • Work in close partnership with healthcare professionals and support workers
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing
  • Clinical experience in a mental health setting (including placements or volunteer work)
  • Strong assessment and triage skills, with a focus on mental health presentations
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions
