Graduate Physiotherapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Graduate Physiotherapist to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to progress your physiotherapy career learning from and working with our experienced Allied Health Team in a supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-orthopaedic surgery, post-spinal surgery, musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions (e.g., CVA, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury), and other conditions.
  • Provide physiotherapy intervention in individual and group settings in the gym, ward, and hydrotherapy environment.
  • Develop appropriate discharge plans within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work both independently and within a team structure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Degree in Physiotherapy with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Relevant clinical/placement experience in Physiotherapy.
  • Able to effectively and efficiently manage a caseload.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High standard of customer service and a team approach.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Quality Improvement.
