Construction Carpenter Assistant

The role of a carpentry labourer is to provide assistance to experienced tradespeople in various aspects of custom builds, including renovations, decks, frames, roofs and joinery.
- Assist skilled craftsmen with various tasks such as framing, roofing and installing cabinets
- Perform manual labour tasks like lifting, carrying and moving materials around the construction site
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with deadlines to meet
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a trade or construction environment with emphasis on carpentry skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy building materials
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with colleagues
- A valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications
Competitive hourly rate supplemented by performance bonuses and a year-end bonus. Company vehicles available for work-related travel and mandatory driving requirements.
