Business Development Professional

Your role will be to provide high-quality advisory support to a portfolio of large to medium-sized clients.

You will work in support of a Principal & National Manager on group purchasing and servicing of clients across the Motor and Retail space.

You are responsible for meeting service standards agreed in the client's contract, consistently meeting revenue targets and developing effective long-term relationships with key decision makers.

Main responsibilities include taking a proactive approach to all aspects of account management, implementing successful retention and defence strategies and maintaining awareness of all complicated claim related matters.

You will also engage with and manage internal stakeholders in delivering excellent service to your client base.

Key Requirements:
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification
  • Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) desirable
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Clear communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
