RDO Equipment Australia is seeking a dedicated Service Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate tasks and designate work areas to Service Technicians based on their expertise and capabilities.
  • Oversee supervisory duties including performance management, attendance tracking, and addressing skill gaps among technicians.
  • Actively pursue customer feedback, foresee potential issues, and respond effectively.
  • Address and follow up on team member concerns and inquiries.
  • Examine all service repair orders for precision and thoroughness regarding parts, materials, and labor, and authorize the release of equipment for customer delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager or Supervisor on all facets of the Service Department.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Service Manager to assess departmental performance, profitability, efficiency, and personnel issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Trade Certification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, Mobile Plant Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining heavy diesel machinery, including engine overhauls and significant repairs, encompassing electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic work.
  • Strong leadership and management experience with the capability to guide, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the design and functionality of John Deere and Vermeer equipment is highly desirable.
  • A valid and current driver's license is essential.
