Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary HSIE Teacher to join our team at St Catherine's Catholic College, Singleton.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching HSIE subjects to students in Years 7-12, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach HSIE subjects to students in Years 7-12, promoting academic excellence and spiritual growth.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and technologies.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive education for students.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of Catholic education.
Requirements
  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher.
  • Active NESA Accreditation.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Completion of CPR training.
