We are seeking a versatile professional to fill the role of driver for collections and deliveries at our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and deliver produce as per instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Perform warehouse and/or food sorting activities as required.
- Liaise with food donors to maximise the potential effectiveness of the program.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and manual handling standards.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained at all times.
- Undertake any other duties within the scope of your skills and experience, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or State Operations Manager.
- A current unrestricted Driver's License (minimum requirement).
- MR Truck License (minimum requirement - HR Licence desirable).
- A current Forklift License (desirable).
- Experience in deliveries, warehousing, food safety and retail will be favourably regarded.
- An empathetic approach to nutritional poverty and ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Good customer service skills which can help develop positive relationships with donors.
