Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Dentist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a strong patient base, flexible schedule, and growth opportunity in a welcoming rural community.

The incoming Associate will benefit from full CDA support and remote mentorship from experienced dentists. This is a general practice setting offering a wide scope of care, and is well-suited to a confident, independent dentist who values patient relationships and is comfortable in a smaller community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality dental care to patients
  • Develop and maintain a strong patient base through excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset

Clinical Scope:

  • General Practice: Focusing on bread and butter dentistry
  • Basic Endodontics & Oral Surgery: Providing essential services for patients
  • Dentures: Offering customized solutions for patients
  • Opportunity to Expand: In advanced oral surgery, invisalign, and perio (currently referred externally)

Mentorship and Support:

  • Mentorship: Available for the associate
  • Transition Plan: Smooth transition plan for the future retirement
