Android Application Architect Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Android application architect to lead the development of our mobile app.

  • Lead the design and development of our first Android app, taking it from concept to launch.
  • Establish best practices for future functionality and team growth in Android mobile infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across platforms.
  • Integrate on-device machine learning models to enable real-time AI features.
  • Work closely with designers and product managers to deliver pixel-perfect, intuitive user interfaces.
  • Evaluate and optimize app performance, reliability, and security continuously.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Android development, fluent in Kotlin and Android ecosystem SDKs.
  • In-depth knowledge of native Android APIs, Compose, Jetpack libraries, and modern architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience running machine learning models on-device (TensorFlow Lite or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integrations, offline storage, and performance optimization techniques.
  • History of submitting and maintaining apps on Google Play.
  • SOME exposure to iOS (Swift UI) and willingness to collaborate with the iOS team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
