Theatre Orderlies play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of operating theatres and ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting clinical staff during procedures. This includes preparing and setting up theatres for surgical cases, checking equipment, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure waste removal adheres to hospital protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in an operating theatre environment (highly desirable)

  • Physical capacity to undertake the demands of the role
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
  • A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care
