**The Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a **Theatre Orderly.** As an orderly, you will be working across the Perioperative Department including PACU, Cardiac Catheter Lab, Endoscopy, and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit with responsibilities including:

- Working with and assisting clinical staff.
- Cleaning and waste removal.
- Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked.
- Transporting patients between wards.

**Your Key Skills and Experience**
- Certificate III in Health Services.
- Previous experience working in operating theatres assisting with surgical procedures highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all patients, the general public and all hospital staff.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding role.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively following directions.
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures.

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate from **$26.50 - $31.98**+ superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 1-2)
