Leadership Development Manager

The role of English Curriculum Leader is a key position in the college that requires effective leadership and strategic planning to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for all students.
This position will lead staff in implementing the English Curriculum, WACE courses, and Teaching, Learning & Assessment Framework across the learning area. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading engaging and contemporary English programs, assessments, and curriculum delivery, while ensuring consistency with the college's framework.
This role also involves liaising with students, parents, the Principal, and other Heads of Learning Area to lead priority areas of the college and ensure success for all students.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- To provide effective leadership in the implementation of the English Curriculum and WACE courses;
- To develop and implement engaging and contemporary English programs and assessments;
- To lead and manage staff in the teaching and learning process;
- To work collaboratively with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective teaching practices;
- To analyze student performance data and make informed decisions to improve educational outcomes;
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for education.
RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you will need to have:
- A Master's degree in Education or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles;
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes through effective teaching and learning strategies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong leadership and management abilities;
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and development;
