Role Overview

The Early Childhood Operations Lead is a key leadership role within Green Leaves Early Learning, responsible for driving excellence and continuous improvement across a dedicated patch of centres. Reporting to the State Operations Manager based in Brisbane, this role is part of a dynamic growing team with decades of sector knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of around five to six centres across metropolitan Brisbane, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to organisational standards.
  • Collaboration with Centre Directors and teams to uphold Green Leaves' Commitments, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Strategic visioning and implementation, bringing expertise in Education and Care national regulations, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Leadership and support for the opening of new centres, driving business outcomes and high performance.
  • Development and delivery of training programs across the group, leveraging expertise in Early Learning.
  • Contribution to building a positive reputation for Green Leaves in the market, through active networking with internal stakeholders and external bodies within the sector.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • A relevant qualification, such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Strong understanding of Regulations/Legislations, including state variations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and National Quality Standards (NQS). QKLG knowledge highly desirable.
  • Proven experience and ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Ability to stay calm and considered in challenging situations.
  • High standards, with a focus on excellence.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships.
  • Ability to self-manage time with multiple priorities.
