About the Role

The Domain/Enterprise Architect position at CleanCo Queensland is a critical role in driving the company's clean energy strategy and vision. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in our Brisbane office with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and governance of the Architecture and Technology roadmap for specific areas within CleanCo.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business and technology strategies.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and transition of solutions, ensuring compliance with architectural principles and standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as an Enterprise or Domain Architect, with broad exposure to multiple architectural domains within different industries.
  • Proven experience in leading a Domain Architecture practice/function with the ability to provide technical leadership for solution architecture on programs and projects.
  • Knowledge of the solution landscape as it applies to the energy industry, including information technology, operational technology (SCADA), Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in managing the definition and development of multiple architecture solutions in parallel.
  • Highly developed business acumen, large-scale technology system know-how, governance, and operations experience.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to developing architectures, problem solving, and implementation.
  • Relevant technical expertise to address risks and identify opportunities to build competitive advantage, business efficiencies, and improved effectiveness.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software, technologies, and applications.
  • A well-developed knowledge base and ability to identify and translate emerging trends, new developments, and technologies into the CleanCo context and highlight resulting opportunities.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in presentation, consultation, negotiation, and change management, including the ability to lead consultative and working groups.
  • Relevant Azure and/or AWS Certifications (desirable).
  • TOGAF Certification (desirable).
