About the Opportunity

Bupa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our Albatross Health Centre team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to Defence Force personnel and their families.

The Albatross Health Centre is a unique and dynamic clinical environment that offers a range of challenges and opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and guidance to our clinical team, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in general practice and a proven track record of leadership and management experience. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing medical advice and guidance to the Health Centre manager and other stakeholders
  • Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participating in quality and governance improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care
  • Providing workforce advice and support to ensure adequate staffing levels and effective team management
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals. You will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management experience
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a medical practitioner in Australia with AHPRA
  • A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration
