About UsSunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years, with a strong commitment to holistic patient care. Our hospital features 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a high standard of evidence-based services to the operating theatre, adhering to Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) standards.
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the cleaning of the theatre environment.
- Provide leadership, direction, support, supervision, and teaching to staff, allocating team members.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience working in a senior role and 2 years in Team Leader position.
- Working independently, prioritizing jobs, and working to a timeline.
- Demonstrated ability to show leadership and work with a wide range of people in a team environment, anticipating peri-operative unit non-clinical needs and responding accordingly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy skills, including MS office.
- An interest in promoting best practice patient care.
- A focus on professional development.
- Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR.
