Lead Policy Manager for Risk Team

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in lending and credit management, including exposure to policy-related functions. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of risk—particularly policy risk—and possess the ability to interpret legislation and legal guidance effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain policies aligned with strategic objectives and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Review and enhance policies in a timely manner, coordinating approved changes with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency across related processes, procedures, and training.
  • Prepare and administer Delegated Approval Authorities (DAAs), creating, maintaining, and terminating DAA records as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Extensive experience in lending and credit management, including policy-related functions.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of risk, particularly policy risk.
  • Ability to interpret legislation and legal guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proven ability in negotiation, dispute resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving.
