Job Description

We are seeking a skilled civil design engineer to join our transport team. Our team delivers integrated solutions that link communities and enhance urban and regional environments.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of small and large-scale road projects, collaborating with team members of varying experience who work together to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create designs and drawings using software packages in accordance with relevant standards (MRWA, Council standards).
  • Deliver project outcomes within client specifications and expectations.
  • Mentor and guide younger team members.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience within roads civil drafter.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in the operation of software design tools such as 12D and AutoCAD packages.
  • Experience in geometric design for MRWA and Austroads and other civil infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputs.
