We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Perth Engineering and Professional Services Team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking planning and detailed roads design, including reporting and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Undertake thorough analysis of road designs to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Review and verify road designs undertaken by others to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client needs and drivers to provide effective solutions.
  • Provide direction, mentoring and support to bid teams and project staff to achieve project objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and industry knowledge to maximise business development opportunities.
  • Prepare technically sound, well written and easily understood proposals and reports.

Skills & Experience Required:

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards and industry guidelines for roads and civil infrastructure.
  • Currently hold chartership to Engineers Australia.
  • Ability to prepare and check design calculations using manual methods or computer applications such as 12d, OpenRoads and the Microsoft Office suite.
