Occupational Therapy Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will be an occupational therapy specialist with a strong background in conducting vocational assessments, identifying return to work barriers and designing programs to assist injured employees to return to the workforce.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting vocational assessments, including transferable skills analysis and identification of suitable job options
- Identifying return to work barriers and developing strategies to overcome them
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Designing, implementing and monitoring programs to assist injured employees to return to the workforce
Requirements:
- Australian recognised degree qualification and full accreditation in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, osteopathy or physiotherapy
- Ability to travel, with a current vehicle and driver's license required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to provide a high level of customer service
- Keen sense of punctuality and effective time management
