Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' daily living skills, promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Provide advice and support to clients on the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment, empowering them to live independently.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in occupational therapy, contributing to ongoing professional development and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in NDIS-related services, with a strong understanding of related regulations and guidelines.
  • Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A genuine passion for helping individuals enhance their independence and quality of life, driving a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, navigating complex healthcare systems with ease.
