Job Overview

The role of a Content Manager involves creating and implementing content strategies across social media platforms.

  • Ideate, film and edit brand appropriate video content for social channels.
  • Develop static content and integrate it into designs as required.
  • Build social content calendars with copywriting, hashtags and scheduling timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media platform updates and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into content briefs.
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all delivered content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Take end-to-end administrative ownership of projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting expectations.
  • In partnership with the Social Studio Director, analyze content performance against agreed KPIs and iterate on how to improve performance in future production cycles.
  • Support the wider Social Studio Team in identifying social trends, content themes and editing styles across the social industry.
Key Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in video content creation for social media channels (content for own channels, side hustles or passion projects accepted)
  • High level of competency in one of Capcut, DaVinci, Adobe Creative Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of social media best practice, platform updates, trends and content formats
  • Some knowledge of social media performance metrics and how they relate to content performance
  • Previous agency experience
  • Previous experience using studio lighting, backdrops and advanced production techniques for social content
  • Experience in graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite)
