Job Position

The role of a Senior Accounting Specialist will involve working closely with various clients, delivering tax compliance services. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely but requires the candidate to be based in South East Queensland to attend initial onboarding and training.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lodge Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and FBT Returns as well as other compliance work.
  • Review and delegate tasks to junior staff within the team.
  • Manage clients directly and handle any queries they may have.
  • Work with clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including prominent brands.
About You
  • Certified Accountant or CPA qualified, or close to qualifying.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, majoring in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Tax Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise directly with clients.
  • Able to navigate accounting software, including Xero and MYOB.
  • Must have experience in Australian Accounting firms.
