Occupational Therapist Role Overview
Job SummaryAs an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to clients and their families/carers in a fast-paced mental health setting.
- Assess and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and senior clinicians.
- Implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of care.
- Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in providing person-centred occupational therapy interventions for adults with acute mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to manage competing clinical and administrative demands in a fast-paced mental health setting.
