About Our Job

The Sydney Dental Hospital is a centre of excellence in oral health and dental care in Australia. The role provides direction, support and advice on the design and operation of an Oral Health Clinical Information System to ensure smooth transformation from a paper-based medical records system to a digital system.

As an operational stakeholder, this position facilitates working relationships with senior clinical stakeholders, Clinical Information System support team and Super Users to support collaboration and exchange of information.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, support and advice on the design and operation of the Oral Health Clinical Information System.
  • Facilitate working relationships with senior clinical stakeholders, Clinical Information System support team and Super Users.
  • Support collaboration and exchange of information to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Significant post-graduate experience in the practice of dentistry and ability to exercise independent professional judgment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of public oral health business processes and business needs.
