We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Visiting Dental Officer (VDO) to join our Oral Health team in Paediatric Dentistry. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care to children and adolescents across the district.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced specialist dentist to contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment. As a VDO, you will be responsible for providing clinical dental care to patients on a sessional basis, practicing within your complete scope of practice and minimising unnecessary referrals to other centres.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must be registered (with no conditions) with the Dental Board of Australia as a Specialist in appropriate speciality (Oral Surgery, Paediatrics or Special Needs Dentistry) and hold current professional medical/dental indemnity insurance.

Additionally, you will require effective communication and interpersonal skills, understanding of infection control principles, and an understanding of current concepts in clinical practice including activity based and value based care.
